1. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is a kind of polymer polymerized by viny chloride monomer (VCM) in peroxide, azo compounds and other initiators or under the action of light and heat according to the mechanism of free radical polymerization. PVC used to be the most widely used plastic in the world. It is widely used in building materials, industrial products, daily necessities, floor leather, floor tiles, artificial leather, pipes, wires and cables, packaging films, bottles, foaming materials, sealing materials, fibers, etc.
Optical brighteners, also called optical brightener agent or fluorescent whitening agent, is a kind of fluorescent dye, or white dye, and it is a complex organic compound. It can absorb the invisible ultraviolet light and convert into the longer wavelength blue light, which superposed with the yellow light emitted by the plastic raw material itself, than give the white light after the complementation. So that the white light emitted by the plastic increases. The naked eye can feel that the white plastic becomes brighter and whiter obviously. Optical brightener has a group of products suit for different end using such as fiber, fabric, plastics, detergent, paint & coating, ink and so on.
Optical brightener 393 (OB-1) is kind of optical brightener for PVC (Polyvinyl chloride). It's also suitable for various of polymers. In the family of optical brighteners for plastic, it's especially good optical brightener for rigid PVC. The application of optical brightener OB-1 for PVC contains vast of products like PVC pipes and tanks (gutters, drinking water pipes, air duct, casing and so on), PVC profile (window frame), PVC decoration materials (buckle plate, floor & wall, garden fence and so on), PVC film and foamed PVC products, just named a few. Except the PVC products, it's also an optical brightener for PVC master-batch.
2. Brief introduction
If no fluorescent whitening agent is added, most of the plastic products produced by plastic primary color granular are pale yellow, and the light-colored products have dim brightness and no texture, especially the recycled materials. The white or light-colored products produced are even more ugly. Adding fluorescent whitening agent will greatly improve the visual effect of the product. The product will turn from yellow to white and dark to bright; and fluorescent whitening agent is not Chemical whitening, is not physical whitening, but a kind of optical whitening, which achieves whitening and brightening effect by absorbing ultraviolet, reflecting visible light and reflecting to human eyes; therefore, the use of fluorescent whitening agent not only improves the appearance of the product, but also guarantee the safety of consumers.
Uses:
1.Suitable for whitening chemical fibers, such as the polyester fibre, nylon fiber, polypropylene fiber and so on.
2. Suitable for whitening and brightening polypropylene plastic, hard PVC, ABS . EVA, polystyrene, polycarbonate, etc.
3. Suitable to be added into the conventional polymerization of polyester and nylon.
4. Especially suitable for whitening the plastics of elevated temperature.
Safety management:
This product can be managed according to general industrial chemicals. Gloves and protective glasses should be worn to avoid direct contact with skin or eyes. If stained with skin, rinse with clean water and soap.
Package
The primary package is 0.06mm thickness pharmaceutical grade PE bags, double liners. The secondary package is usually 25kg fiber drum with wooden lead and iron hoop. We can also customize package according to your requirements. We have experience on customizing 25kg cardboard cartoon, 10kg cardboard cartoon, 10kg fiber drum and 5kg small plastic bag in 25kgs drum. Welcome to send us your specific requirements on package.
We put air bags between the gap of 2 neighborhood pallets. We put covered cardboard around the cartoons on pallet on requirement. We use net at container door to prevent cargo falling down when open the door. Any better suggestion on how to load and protect the goods will been taken by us.
The max loading quantity for a 20' fcl is 5.25mts of 25kg drum with pallets, and 6.65mts of 10kg drum with pallets.

The greenish OB-1 has the blue tone, while the yellowing OB-1 has the red tone. Except this, they has the same effect of whitening and brightening.
